CNNC evaluated as A-level by SASAC for 13 consecutive years

The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council convened a video meeting on July 17, and announced the results of the management assessment towards the heads of State-owned companies in 2017.

China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) was evaluated as A-level at the annual performance assessment among State-owned companies, and it reached a record high in history through awarded the title for 13 consecutive years. 

In 2017, CNNC achieved the total profit and economic value added (EVA) of 13.87 billion yuan ($2.1 billion) and 8.52 billion yuan, with an increase of 7.8 percent and 6 percent respectively over the previous year.

The profit and the economic value added amount accounted for 44.85 percent of current assets. The indicators have exceeded the assessment goal issued by the SASAC.

In 2017, CNNC scored 135 during the business performance appraisal, which are the highest points the corporation has made ever. It ranked the 22nd among China’s State-owned enterprises this year.
