Yu Jianfeng promotes Sino-Thai collaboration in Bangkok

Yu Jianfeng, chairman of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), and nine executives from Chinese State-owned companies attended the 6th Conference of China-Thailand Joint Trade Committee in Bangkok on Aug 24.

Chinese State Councillor Wang Yong and Thai Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak jointly presided over the meeting and attended the Thailand China Business Forum 2018, with the participation of more than 50 Chinese enterprises.

Yu held talks with directors from The Office of Atoms for Peace of Thailand and Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology to seek bilateral cooperation. 

Thai representatives highly praised the strength of the whole industrial chain of CNNC, and the two sides hope to establish and maintain communication to promote cooperation in sectors of industry, energy, agriculture and technology.

Yu also paid a visit to Lyu Jian, the Chinese ambassador to Thailand. Lyu expressed his support for CNNC to further explore the Thai market and will actively introduce the strength of CNNC in infrastructure construction, new energy projects and nuclear technology.
