6 CNNC nuclear units tie for first place on WANO index

2018-03-23 The World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) announced that the 2017 WANO composite index of CNNC’s Tianwan Unit 2 was 100 points, tying for first place with two nuclear units from Russia in the world’s VVER sector.
Previously, 300,000-kilowatt unit of Qinshan Phase I, units 1, 2 and 3 of Qinshan Phase II, and Fuqing Unit 1 earned a WANO composite index of 100 points, tying for first place in the world. At this point, a total of six units in CNNC achieved 100 points.
