Peng Shilu, a member of Chinese Academy of Engineering and the science advisor of China National Nuclear Corporation, received the top science and technology achievement award from the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing on Oct 25.

As a former nuclear industry leader, Peng won the unanimous vote and received applauses from the jury on account of his dedication to scientific research.

The award not only gave credit for Peng’s prominent achievement and contribution to nuclear cause throughout his lifetime, but also acclaimed the development of China’s nuclear submarine power and nuclear power technology, which is significant to the technological innovation of the nuclear industry in the near future.
