China launches new uranium enrichment centrifuges
2018.03.21China has completed a "large-scale demonstration project for a new generation of uranium enrichment centrifuges", China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) announced yesterday. The new centrifuges have now been put into production at the Hanzhun fuel facility in Shaanxi province.

India to assist in Rooppur implementation

Unterweser gets decommissioning approval
2018.02.07German utility PreussenElektra has announced that the decommissioning and dismantling of the Unterweser nuclear power plant (KKU) can now start, following approval from the Lower Saxony Ministry of the Environment, Energy, Building and Climate Protection. The approval is pursuant to Section 7 (3) of Germany's Atomic Energy Act.
