  • CNNC and New AREVA build industrial and commercial partnership

    Wang Shoujun, chairman of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), and Philippe Knoche, CEO of France’s New AREVA, jointly signed a framework agreement for an industrial and commercial cooperation in the presence of China’s Premier Li Keqiang and French Prime Minister Bernard Cazeneuve in Beijing on Feb 21.

  • CNNC partners with France’s IRSN on nuclear emergency medical treatment

    To improve the ability of China’s nuclear emergency response and organized management, China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC)’s General Hospital and France’s Institute for Radiological Protection and Nuclear Safety (IRSN) jointly undertook training on improvements in nuclear emergency medical treatment on Feb 14, and released a productive practice in Suzhou, Jiangsu province.

    On Feb 1, the vortex examination device and technology of the VVER-1000 unit horizontal-type vapor generator thermal transmission tube, independently researched and developed by China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), was successfully fitted to Unit 3 of Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant.

    On Jan 19, CNNC’s subsidiary, Baotou Nuclear Fuel Company, received the qualification certificate for producing AP1000 nuclear fuel rods from America’s Westinghouse Electric Corporation.

  • CNPW is in the list of Iran new IPC qualified company

    On Jan 2, 2017, Iran’s Oil Ministry announced that they certified 29 international companies to bid for oil and gas projects in the country under its new format of oil contracts. There are four Chinese oil companies in the list which including CNPW, a consortium led by CNNC’s subsidiary company CNOG.
