Qian Zhimin, president of China National Nuclear Corporation, met with Sandy Taylor, electronic power CEO of SNC-LAVINLIN, an engineering and construction company from Canada, to discuss nuclear power cooperation in Beijing on April 12.

The two sides first reviewed the progress of joint work in AFCR R&D and then discussed possibilities of cooperation on nuclear facility decommissioning and usage time extension.

Accompanying Qian at the meeting were the heads of CNNC's international cooperation department and nuclear power business department, and leaders from CNNC’s subsidiary companies Zhongyuan Engineering Corp and Qinshan Nuclear Power Corp.
