Qian Zhimin, president of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), recently met with Yang Wanming, Chinese ambassador to Argentina, at the headquarters of CNNC in Beijing to discuss details of the company’s nuclear power presence in Argentina.

Qian outlined further plans to continue cooperating with Argentina on nuclear matters and expressed his hope that government, and especially the ambassador, might be able to give more support to CNNC’s “going out”.

Yang spoke highly of the company’s successes in Argentina and briefed Qian on the country’s domestic situation. He urged CNNC to tighten contacts with Argentina to ensure implementation of current and future projects.
