China CNNC Baoyuan Property Holding Co, an affiliate of China National Nuclear Corp (CNNC), signed a cooperation contract on a proton treatment demonstration center with Tianjin Binhai New Area and Tianjin Medical University Cancer Hospital on June 3. This signals a remarkable step forward for the project, which will be CNNC's first domestically developed proton treatment demonstration center.

At the signing ceremony, Qian Zhimin, president of CNNC, described the company's advantages in the proton industry and its strategic plans, pledging that CNNC will continue to play a leading role in accelerating integrated military and civilian development to both elevate China's medical equipment levels and promote the local economy.
