The Unit 2 of the Tianwan nuclear power plant completed the 9th refueling and maintenance, and succeeded connecting the grid on Nov 1.

The overhaul is the first decade-period maintenance of the Unit 2 of the Tianwan nuclear power plant, and created a new record of the shortest project duration of the refueling and maintenance among the national nuclear power stations.

Meanwhile, the reactor cores have already been replaced with TVS-2M, a long-period fuel assembly, marking that the first-phrase project of the Tianwan nuclear power station has entered a long-periodic fuel cycle.
