A ceremony for a CNNC operation focused on assisting Cambodia in locating water resources and drilling wells was held in Phnom Penh recently, marking a crucial step for CNNC to implement China’s Belt and Road Initiative.

The project will facilitate an amicable partnership between China and Cambodia.

Improvements in the production capabilities and living conditions of Cambodian locals is an expected result of the operation, in addition to further collaborations between CNNC and Cambodia in the sectors of infrastructure, nuclear energy and nuclear technologies.
