China Isotope and Radiation Corporation, a subsidiary of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), and Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries jointly donated the gamma knife to Morocco announced at the media conference held in Beijing on Feb 7. 

It’s been the first time for Chinese companies to donate self-designed and independently-developed high-end medical equipment abroad, which will be used to finance the radio-diagnosis and treatment in Morocco. 

It demonstrates that CNNC utilizes nuclear technology and application to promote the stable and diversified development of Sino-Morocco relationship on an occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations of the two countries.

It’s also a way to support the implementation of the national-level proposal “construct a human community with shared destiny”.
