Yu Jianfeng, chairman of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) met with Syed Yusuf Raza and his party from the Nuclear Power Office of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC), in Beijing on July 20. The two sides exchanged views on topics such as deepening China-Pakistan nuclear energy cooperation.

Yu briefly reviewed the cooperation process between the two sides and expressed his willingness to strengthen collaboration in the application of nuclear medicine and nuclear technologies. He also conveyed firm support to the development of Pakistani nuclear energy, thus making new contributions to China-Pakistan all-weather strategic partnership.

Yusuf congratulated Yu on being appointed as chairman of CNNC and hoped that the bilateral cooperation in various fields is progressing smoothly. He expects to maintain a fraternal friendship with CNNC and push China-Pakistan nuclear energy cooperation to a new high.
