China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) signed strategic cooperation agreements with four universities including Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Xi’an Jiaotong University and Harbin Engineering University between July 29 and Aug 15.

The cooperation aims to promote the technological research and industrialization development of China's advanced nuclear energy. CNNC Chairman Yu Jianfeng and CNNC President Gu Jun witnessed the signing ceremonies at the universities.

As China’s only military-civilian nuclear company, CNNC has taken advantage of the whole nuclear industrial chain and innovation system, and has integrated domestic nuclear innovative resources through resource-sharing and win-win marketing pattern.

The cooperation allows resources in nuclear scientific research institutes and universities to better serve and promote the integration system and capacity building of China's military-civilian nuclear industry, and help make remarkable achievements to China's ecological civilization construction, energy security and people's health.
