The International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) is an international major scientific engineering project with a scale second only to the international space station project. It is also called the "artificial sun" as it can generate energy by simulating the same nuclear fusion reaction of the sun, and can control the use of the energy produced. In 2019, Tokamak Assembly Contract 1 (TAC-1), in connection with the assembly of the "heart" of the "artificial sun", was concluded by and between the Sino-French consortium led by #CNNC and the ITER Organization, aiming to promote the project and facilitate the realization of the ultimate energy dream of people around the world, including those from the countries and regions along the Belt and Road.
