The stable and continuous mineral development of Rössing Uranium Mine, the world's oldest large-scale open-pit uranium mine in operation, has vigorously promoted the economic growth of #Namibia while making important contributions to the development of global nuclear energy.

The sustainable operations of Rössing Uranium Mine has driven the development of local industries including transportation, urban supporting facilities, and raw material supply, created stable job opportunities for nearly 1,000 employees at the Rössing Uranium Mine, as well as over 1,000 workers employed by contractors, guaranteed the livelihood of nearly 10,000 families with family members working in the upstream and downstream industry chain. The operations of Rössing Uranium Mine could contribute about NAD300 million (or CNY130 million) in tax revenue for Namibia every year.

The Rössing Uranium Mine has provided raw materials for global nuclear power companies, and made contributions to the development of global nuclear energy and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
