As an industrial leader in the promotion of nuclear technology applications in China, the CNNC has built extensive expertise in nuclear medicine and irradiation over the years. It has developed integrated service solutions, which cover the R&D and sales of isotope, and special nuclear medicine services, and provided its global clients with such services as project design and construction together with equipment installation and testing.

In addition, the CNNC exhibited the world's first X-ray and gamma-ray (X/γ) radiation dose detection chip. Thanks to its compact size and high sensitivity, the homegrown X/γ radiation dose detection chip boasts tremendous application potentials in a wide range of fields, especially in smart devices with radiation detection capabilities. It can be easily installed into smartphones and other intelligent equipment. With manual-guided secondary software development, it is expected to be widely used in the detection of radiation dose for nuclear-related workplaces, personnel and environmental scenarios.
