The Zhangzhou Nuclear Power Plant recently hoisted and installed the second steel liner module for the Unit Four reactor and the fifth steel liner model for the Unit Three reactor, laying a solid foundation for subsequent steel liner module construction and main equipment installation.

With a weight of 142.7 tons and total hoisting weight of 253.6 tons, the second steel liner module for the Unit Four reactor has an inner diameter of approximately 46.8 meter.

Meanwhile, the inner diameter of the fifth steel liner model for the Unit Three reactor is about the same length. Its total height is about 9.78 meters and overall hoisting weight is about 235 tons.

China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) has stressed the application of experience feedback, scientifically optimized construction schedules and resource allocation, and ensured a smooth, safe and high-quality heavy-lifting operation in terms of material inspection, workshop prefabrication, on-site assembly, and module hoisting.
