From November 4 to 6, the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) showcased its capabilities at the 2025 World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) in France. Through thematic presentations, a distinctive booth, and roundtable discussions, CNNC highlighted its comprehensive industrial strength and commitment to global collaboration.
This year's WNE, themed "Nuclear Today and Tomorrow" and "Beyond Electricity", attracted over 1,000 exhibitors from more than 80 countries. CNNC's booth featured its standardized and diversified nuclear power solutions including Hualong One, Linglong One, and high-temperature gas-cooled reactors, alongside its expertise in nuclear fuel, engineering, and technological applications.

CNNC representatives shared insights into integrated nuclear solutions, advanced design and construction capabilities, and innovative practices in nuclear energy utilization.

During roundtable forums on topics such as "Fast-tracking New Nuclear Programs: International Experiences," "From Breakthroughs to Industry: Delivering Fusion Energy at Global Scale," and "Standardization in the Global Nuclear Industry: Pathways and Challenges," CNNC experts noted China's transition from a follower to a leader in nuclear technology, the systematic advancement of fusion energy through national strategies and industry-academia-research collaboration, and the pivotal role of comprehensive digital transformation in standardizing nuclear construction, offering a "Chinese solution" to global challenges.
Attendees were particularly interested in CNNC's progress in advanced nuclear energy fields such as small modular and high-temperature reactors, as well as its proficiency in fuel element manufacturing and radioactive waste management. Many companies and institutions expressed their desire to deepen cooperation with CNNC.

During the exhibition, CNNC engaged in bilateral talks with key partners like EDF, Westinghouse, and Framatome, reaching consensus on further collaboration in nuclear energy.
In Paris, CNNC demonstrated its strength and commitment to the world. Moving forward, CNNC aims to transform "Chinese solutions" into global partnerships, fostering a new era of nuclear energy development.
