The first Nuclear System Relay Protection Technician Competition of the 2025 Belt and Road & BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition was successfully held from November 11 to 14. A total of 74 participants from nine countries, including China, Pakistan, Russia, and Armenia, took part in this international skills event focused on relay protection in nuclear energy systems.

The competition was co-hosted by CNNC and several partnering organizations. Designed to build a high-level international exchange platform for relay protection skills in nuclear energy systems, the competition closely aligned with real industry needs. It covered three major components—theoretical knowledge, simulation assessments, and practical operations—to comprehensively evaluate the participants' professional competence and overall capabilities, contributing to the cultivation of high-quality technical talent for Belt and Road and BRICS nuclear energy development.

After intense competition, 16 participants from CNNC won first, second, and third prizes in the individual category, while relevant teams received awards including Best Organization Award, Outstanding Organization Award, and Special Contribution Award.

Looking ahead, CNNC will continue to strengthen talent training and team development in specialized fields, building a solid talent foundation for high-quality industrial development and contributing to the safe, efficient, and innovation-driven progress of the global nuclear energy sector.
