On September 9, the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) opened in Beijing. Under the theme "Infinite Nuclear Power, Creating the Future Together", CNNC showcased China's three-step strategy of nuclear energy development, along with its corporate profile, culture, and industrial layout. Its four exhibition areas each offered a unique look at CNNC's innovations.

At the "world science & technology frontiers area", China's HL-4 model drew visitors eager to learn about the latest advances in fusion. Isotopes including deuterium, silicon-28 and germanium-76 were also on display, providing key materials for research in controlled fusion energy, silicon-based quantum computing and integrated circuits.

At the "main economic battlefield area", the Chaotan One model attracted attention alongside isotopes such as boron-10 and cobalt-60. These technologies are widely used in industrial non-destructive testing and irradiation processing, showcasing how nuclear technology supports the wider economy.

At the "major national needs area", specialty isotopes including rubidium-87, plutonium-238, and helium-3 were featured for their indispensable roles in strategic applications such as spaceborne atomic clocks and deep-space exploration.

At the "people's health area", the domestically developed "Kunpeng Knife" smart Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) system was showcased alongside medical isotopes such as carbon-13 and lutetium-177. CNNC has built a full-chain nuclear medicine ecosystem spanning isotope raw materials, targeted drugs, diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, and clinical services.

During CIFTIS, CNNC held a new innovative product launch and signing ceremony, reaching cooperation agreements with domestic and international partners in nuclear medicine, irradiation technology and zero-carbon energy. Isotope-based medical diagnostic reagents and irradiation processing services are examples of knowledge-intensive services, highlighting how CNNC is applying cutting-edge nuclear technologies to modern services and creating new growth opportunities in trade in services.
