Consisting of 998 young people of an average age of 32, the R&D teams for CNNC's self-developed mega kilowatt level third-generation pressurized water reactor nuclear power technology, HPR1000, managed to make numerous technological breakthroughs by merging their more than 30 years' experience on nuclear power station research, design, construction, debugging and operation with internationally advanced third-generation nuclear technology design.
