A video conference on supply of HPR1000’s primary pump and international market development was held by China National Nuclear Corporation and Harbin Electric Corporation in Beijing on Feb 6.

Qian Zhimin, president of CNNC, urged the two companies to attach importance to the primary pump and other products related to the HPR1000, ensuring the implementation of relevant measures. He offered his opinion on international market development and cooperation arrangements, and said he hopes both sides will continue sincere cooperation to achieve further progress in the new year.

Zou Lei, chairman of Harbin Electric Corporation, said the company will endeavor to guarantee the punctual supply of equipment to the HPR1000 demonstration project, fulfilling its commitment to CNNC.

HPR1000 is the only 3rd-generation nuclear power brand to which China has exclusive intellectual property rights. Qualified for export, it has lifted China’s nuclear power technology to a globally leading position and become a strategic tool for China to promote nuclear power technologies abroad.
