Qian Zhimin, China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) president, and Zou Lei, Harbin Electric Corp (HE) president, held a video meeting on the HPR1000 project on May 9. They exchanged views on the supply of HPR1000’s main pump and other matters. The two parties agreed that the status of construction and project development generally was satisfactory, and on this basis Qian urged all personnel to carry on accomplishing the supply task.

As a key piece of equipment for the nuclear plant, the HPR1000 main pump is paid special attention by CNNC, which has set up a special team to conduct regular high-level coordination and quick response to ensure an on-time supply.
