Wang receives head of Argentine Pampa Energia

Wang Shoujun, chairman of CNNC met with Marcelo Midlin, president of Pampa Energia, who accompanied Argentina’s President Mauricio Macri to the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, in Beijing on May 15.
The two sides deliberated over their cooperation in the Argentine nuclear power industry. Li Xiaoming, president assistant, also attended the meeting.
Wang firstly introduced the current situation of CNNC and expressed his view that the bilateral partnership built over the years has achieved productive results. He added that CNNC has a complete industrial system for nuclear technologies which can further boost cooperation and harvest mutual progress.
As Argentina’s largest electricity company, Pampa Energia expects to collaborate with CNNC in the nuclear energy sector, said Midlin.
