CNNC boosts further cooperation with New AREVA

Wang Shoujun, chairman of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) met with Philippe Knoche, CEO of French nuclear power firm New AREVA on May 16.
The two sides reached an important consensus on advancing cooperation on nuclear fuel cycles and made arrangements for the following work.
Those who attended the meeting included Yang Changli, vice president of CNNC; Guillaume Dureau and Antoine Troesch, senior executive vice presidents of AREVA, and Philippe Hatron, president of New AREVA China. The meeting was also attended by members of CNNC’s international cooperation department.
Before the meeting, the two sides attended the 20th top management coordination meeting regarding a Sino-French nuclear cycle cooperation project, as well as a management meeting on cooperation in the nuclear industry.
The two sides also reviewed the progress of cooperation in the nuclear fuel industry since the chairmen’s meeting was held on March 1.
