CNNC works on Sino-Canada nuclear collaboration
Invited by Canadian giant SNC-Lavalin, CNNC Chairman Wang Shoujun convened delegates in Montreal to inspect the headquarters of Candu Energy Inc on July 31.
Lawrence N. Stevenson, chairman of the board of SNC-Lavalin, and Alexander Taylor, president of SNC-Lavalin’s power sector, exchanged views concerning nuclear energy cooperation with the CNNC delegation during their visit.
SNC-Lavalin has deemed CNNC as a crucial partner and hopes to conduct pragmatic bilateral collaborations, according to Stevenson.
“CNNC has been consulting with SNC-Lavalin in businesses and services, and built a solid foundation through the years,” said Wang, conveying much expectation for genuine coordination from both sides.
Wang also mentioned that new progress made by the two corporations can further boost the Sino-Canada nuclear energy partnership.
