China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) succeeded in launching the first batch of assemblies for late-model large-scale commercial demonstrative project independently researched and developed by the corporation, in CNNC’s Shaanxi Uranium Enrichment Co Ltd on Dec 29.

This also marked that CNNC has upgraded the specialized equipment to be qualified for large-scale commercial standards and reaching the international advanced level. The project is expected to serve as a platform for international cooperation and provides support and guarantee to further nuclear fuel export.
