Tianwan Unit 3 joins power grid
Unit 3 of Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant succeeded in connecting to the power grid in Lianyungang, Jiangsu province on Dec 30, with all technical indicators according with initial design requirements.
It lays a solid ground to guarantee the unit to enter commercial operation on schedule. At this point, CNNC runs 18 nuclear power units with a total installed capacity of more than 15 gigawatts, which will contribute to the improvement of energy structure, ecological protection and a beautiful country.
