China Nuclear Energy Industry Corporation -- also known as CNEIC, a unit of China National Nuclear Corporation or CNNC -- has made great efforts to donate medical materials to overseas countries in the fight against the novel coronavirus epidemic, according to company reports.
In the early stage of the epidemic outbreak in China, CNEIC received great support from overseas partners and it is now time we return the kindness, said Liu Chunsheng, chairman of CNEIC.
On the one hand, the company is organizing its orderly resumption of work to help ensure safe supplies of nuclear fuel for customers worldwide -- while on the other hand, the company is buying medical materials to donate them to countries in need, officials said.
