CNNC showcases nuclear fuel industrial chain capabilities to globe
The Expo 2020 Dubai UAE China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) Day of Nuclear Fuel was live-streamed in multiple languages to global audiences on Feb 28.
It was the first time for China's nuclear fuel industry to hold a live-streaming event for global audiences.
Addressing the event via video link, Shen Yanfeng, vice president of CNNC, said that CNNC will always adhere to the philosophy of green development and be committed to fostering its green and sustainable development capacity.
CNNC will implement a development strategy driven by technological innovation and provide its global partners with advanced and reliable nuclear energy and technological service, Shen added.
China National Uranium Corporation and China Nuclear Energy Industry Corporation, two major subordinate enterprises of CNNC in the front-end nuclear fuel sector, participated in the event. They gave an overview of the capabilities of CNNC's nuclear fuel industrial chain and said they would like to strengthen cooperation with international partners to improve the stability of the global nuclear fuel supply chain.
